The IECEE CB Scheme (abbreviation for Scheme of the IECEE for Mutual Recognition of Test Certificates for Electrotechnical Equipment and Components) is an international program created by IECEE (the International Electrotechnical Commission for Electrical Equipment) for the mutual acceptance of product test reports and certification dealing with the safety of electrical and electronic components, equipment and products. It is a multilateral agreement among participating countries and certification organizations. A manufacturer utilizing a CB test certificate issued by one of the accepted certification bodies can obtain certification marks recognized by the other countries participating in the Scheme. So far, the Scheme has more than 50 participating countries, many of which are main trade partners of China.
