Lab Introduction

CCIC-SET owns the largest EMC testing laboratory in South China. The lab has the state-of-the-art equipment and can test according to most national and international standards in this field, making it a top-level EMC testing body even compared with those in developed countries. It enjoys wide recognition and has substantial influence in the industry. 

Our EMC lab holds accreditations by CNAS and various authoritative organizations widely recognized in China and abroad. We provide EMC test as required by 3C certification, voluntary certification, supervision and random checking, and manufacturing license to six product categories such as IT, AV, and communication; certification of CE, E-Mark (EU), FCC (US), VCCI (Japan), C-Tick (Australia and New Zealand); test of electronics, electrical, and related products based on GB, GJB, IEC, CISPR, EN, FCC, VCCI and other relevant standards; design verification, pre-compliance test and rectification test demanded by manufacturers.

Equipment of EMC laboratory

High grade radiated immunity testing system manufactured by American AR

CCIC-SET invested heavily to equip itself with a high grade radiated immunity testing system manufactured by American AR. With field strength up to 200V/M and frequency extended from 100kHz to 8GHz, the system is able to fulfill testing of automotive electronics product and security product according to the latest version of EN61000-4-3 standard.


40GHz spectrometer, 8GHz high-end network analyzer, 40GHz high frequency horn antenna and related pre-amp and filter bank

They can meet the RF testing requirements of FCC and CTA


Three-phase harmonic test system, EFT 4.5KV, lightning surge test 10KV, ringing wave and damped oscillation wave 6KV

The laboratory has test capabilities of three-phase harmonic test system, EFT 4.5KV, lightning surge test 10KV, ringing wave and damped oscillation wave 6KV. It is also equipped with three-phase network. Both single-phase and three-phase equipments can meet the A and B level requirements of ANSI C62.41 / IEEE C62.41 as well as individual requirements of manufacturers.

CCIC-SET has the largest testing laboratory for celluar phone terminal products in South China, capable of conducting all EMC test items for 2G/3G/4G celluar phones.


A 10M chamber, a 5M chamber, a 3M chamber and an OTA chamber

The chambers all meet the requirements of ANSI C63.4, EN50147, CISPR16 and GB/T6113 and hold calibration certificates issued by China Institute of Metrology. In particular, the 10M chamber and 5M chamber are specially equipped with three-phase five-wire system. Each phase has > 250A power supply system and 250A filter (each of the three phases 250A). They are the sole 10M chamber/ 5M chamber in China able to test 10M and 5M radiated emission of equipment characterized with large size and large current.

CCIC-SET is the sole laboratory in South China which relies on only its own capabilities to conduct EMC test of mobile user terminals – simulation mobile telephone, GSM digital digital cellular mobile station (cellphones and other terminal devices), and CDMA digital digital cellular mobile station (cellphones and other terminal devices).
